Matic Insurance Services (Matic), a digital insurance agency whose technology enables borrowers to purchase homeowner’s insurance during the mortgage transaction, announced today it has raised $7 million in a Series A funding round, led by Mr. Cooper, and leading insurance carriers Nationwide and National General Insurance with support from VC firms Anthemis and ManchesterStory Group.

Digital insurance agency Matic Insurance Services has managed to raise $7 million in a Series A funding round. Investors for the round included major insurers Nationwide and National General Insurance, venture capital firms Anthemis and ManchestersStory Group, and mortgage originator Mr. Cooper.
Matic’s technology allows borrowers to buy homeowner’s insurance while in the process of a mortgage transaction.
